That’s a difficult question to answer because the water in the oceans is constantly in flux. Water in the ocean evaporates, becomes rain, falls on land, then washes back into the ocean. There is an estimated 326 million trillion gallons of water on our planet. About 98% of this is in the oceans at a given time.
