Based on the table linked below, different processes of coffee production yield different caffeine levels.  But the range of caffeine in non-decaf coffee is 65-175 milligrams of caffeine for an 8 ounce beverage.  The range for tea is 15-47 milligrams of caffeine.  So for both the minimum and maximum caffeine levels of both tea and coffee without selecting for the type of tea and coffee, you would have to drink around 4 cups of tea to attain the level of that in coffee.  Bear in mind, different tea and coffee have different levels of caffeine so use the table linked below and make the appropriate ratio accordingly.
