Considering that the average salivary flow in a human being is between zero and 0.150 milliliters of saliva a minute in a day, we would swallow approximately 216 milliliters of saliva a day, assuming we don’t spit and don’t eat. However, this increases to between 0.180 and 0.800 milliliters a minute while oyur salivary glands are being stimulated, so assuming it takes you half an hour to eat, and you eat three meals a day, you would swallow around 274.5 milliliters of spit a day, or just over a cup of pure saliva.

    I hope this helped!
