How much of Russia’s power comes from nuclear?

    As of 2005, the percent of Nuclear energy consumed by Russia was 5%. This is data from about 6 years ago, so the number is likely to have changed, but not too significantly–give or take 1-2% if at all. What is interesting in 2008 most of the 31 nuclear power plants then were nearing their expected “expiration dates.” In light of this they proposed a $960million dollar investment into nuclear energy
