How much of the rainforest is left from its original size?

Over half of the rainforest’s once 4 billion acres have been destroyed.  Every year 50 million acres are destroyed.  Less than 7% of Brazil’s 330 million acres are left.  However, 80% of the Amazon rainforest is still intact which is comparatively very good.  We just need to get more people to realize that the Amazon rainforest is not the only rainforest in the world.
