How much of the rainfall in the Amazon is caused by its own moisture evaporation into the atmosphere?

About 2/3 of the rainfall in the Amazon never even reaches the ground as it is re-evaporated into the atmosphere. Even more evaporation occurs from the ground and river water. All of the evaporated water re-enters the water-cycling system. Each molecule of water may “re-rain” many times.
