Perusing various articles on line, it appears that geothermal plants, depending on the output of the source, can vary from 50 – 150 MW or megawatts. This is the total output that they can unleash at a peak period. Average output would most likely be in the 25-100 MW range. Compare this to the 30 peak MW capacity of solar and wind farms and the 500 – 1500 MW capacity of some coal power plants.
