Extreme variability, from zero to a lot, depending on where the fruit is grown, nature of the farming/application of pesticides, subsequent processing, etc. The link has a list, which says it summarizes various studies.
This is an interesting Huffington Post article. Apparently apples are the most notorious type of produce for having pesticides. Celery is second on the list.
Besides apples, the top twelve fruits treated with the most pesticides are: peaches (which are exposed up to 53 different kinds of pesticides), strawberries (treated with 38 pesticides), cherries (10 pesticides), imported grapes, nectarines, pears, raspberries, grapes, plums, oranges, and tangerines.
