How much paper has Congress wasted while debating the climate bill?

    I’ve seen a lot of unnecessary paper waste in office environments I’ve worked in, and I can only imagine the volume of hardcopy documents the White House must shred, recycle and/or dispose of on an average day.  The irony you allude to is an alarming trend; as enlightened citizens, we have a tendency to put more focus and energy into political protests than into changing habits in our own lives to produce social change.  Colin Beavan articulates this in a very inspiring way in his book “No Impact Man”.  Refer to his blog in the link below.
