How much of our food in markets are bought from other countries?

    It depends on where you go.  You will probably never find a grocery store that sells things only from America.  However, it you go to a grocery store like Whole Foods or Trader Joes, you will find much more American products than you would at a place like Kroger or Jewel Osco. In fact if you looked at some of the labels on some of the things in the grocery store you would be shocked at where it is from.  I have seen things from like Fiji, Chile, Argentina, and a slew of other countries that are WAY too far to be getting things like apples from
