That really depends on the grocery store. The smaller markets have a better capacity to get locally-grown produce. The larger chains typically truck in their groceries from a large central distribution site. Their produce might possibly be locally grown if the warehouse is local. Additionally, some larger chains have the capacity to bring in local produce in addition to what is trucked in from the central warehouse.
