Anything biodegradable can be put into a compost, so many leftover food scraps or fruits/vegetables that have gone bad can be put in the compost pile to turn into manure and enrich the earth. You’ve got to be very careful with composting food scraps for reasons of hygiene. Some food wastes such as plastic bottles used to carry beverages etc are not compostable as they are non-biodegradable, so the wastes must be separated accordingly.
Well that depends on what kind of food the person eats but a great deal of our food can be composted. Any type of produce or organic, coming from the earth food can be composted. Whether it be an apple core or banana peel, also things like tea bags can be composted.
