No doubt your vehicle will get better gas mileage with less aggressive tires, but how much depends on your vehicle and current tire size. A 1989 Jeep with super swampers switch to a general tire went from 13.5-18.1mpg. A 2004 Dodge Durango went from a BFG to Continental and the mileage changed from 17.7-20.2mpg.
It all depends on your vehicle, tire size, and tire tread. No matter what you will gain mileage.
