This answer obviously depends on the amount of doors/windows in your house, the condition they are in, and the size of your house. A Vermont field study claims that sealing a single loose window can save $14-20 annually on energy costs. This would certainly be in the more extreme cases; fixing vinyl windows with major leaks. But, if your house is old and you have leaks it can make a significant difference.
