Quite a lot! It’s interesting that despite the economy, people still are willing to spend a little bit more for “green” products. In 2009, it was estimated that people spent nearly $38billion on eco-friendly products.
In my opinion, this isn’t necessarily a good or bad thing. Consumerism is consumerism, and it should be noted that no matter how eco-friendly buying a product is, it had to be created from materials somewhere in the world and shipped to you. LESS buying overall is a truly eco-friendly approach!
