The mighty great gambling mecca, Los Vegas, has been struggling like the rest of the world. Gambling strips have been losing revenue at a gradual rate. Last year the Las Vegas strip gained a net $414.5 million, this year it declined to $383 million. This may be a record pit fall for the kings of Nevada, but I am sure they are betting on a bounce back.
Around $8.8 billion in gaming revenue was earned in 2009 and 2010. I don’t have the amount for 2011, though the 2009 and 2010 years are lower than previous years. Las Vegas brought in around $10.6 billion in gaming revenue in 2006.
