If you’re wondering about subsidies from the federal government (and taxpayers), a report from 2009 states that the government pays out between $10 billion and $30 billion in cash subsidies to farmers and owners of farms annually. The U.S. Census Bureau also has multiple reports on agricultural imports and exports, crops, farm income and balance sheets, etc.
