How much money do hunters raise for conservation every year?

    As of 2005 hunters of all types, (bird, big game, etc) raise approximately 1.5 billion dollars a year which depending on the type of license (State or Federal) will go to either local habitats or nationwide habitats respectively.

    Hunters contribute more than $4.7 million each dayfor concervation through license fees and special taxes on hunting equipment. Hunters are work with conservation organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, National Wildlife Federation and the Wildlife Management Institute.

    According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, hunters have provided $8 billion for conservation in the U.S. to date.
