How much money do conservation groups need to do their job?

It often depends on the size of the project and the number of staff members. For a small project in a small sized piece of land, it may not be necessary to have very many full time staff or research members. These people may be paid about $30,000 a year or more depending on what they are doing and if they are getting funding to conduct research. Then part of the budget will need to go towards headquarters space, equipment, permits, vehicles, etc. That would make up the bulk of the rest of the budget and could cost from $10,000 and up. It could cost more or less depending on where the project is and how long it is going for.
