On January 1, 2012 it was suppose to be the dat the Energy Independence and security act (EISA), which was passed by Congree and signed into law by former President Bush in 2007 came into effect, banning certain high-watt incandescent light bulbs. All bulbs will remain on the market, at least for now, thanks to a “rider” that some members of Congress successfully attached to the massive government spending bill. The tradition incandescent light bulbs beginning with 100-watt bulbs on Jan. 1st was a contentious and invasive measure that many American’s vehemently opposed. Conculsion to this problem, not sure how much government will save with banning incandescent light bulbs due to the policy we have now about keeping them.
