How much longer is the Nile River than the Amazon River?

The difficulty in answering this question is in deciding where the measurements will be taken. The Amazon River ends in a delta, as does the Nile. If data was taken from the most extreme ends of the rivers, we find that the Nile River is 6695km (4160miles) long. The Amazon River is 6280km (3902miles) in length.

This shows that the Nile River is 415km (258miles) longer than the Amazon River.
