The Three Gorges Dam is 607 feet high and 6500 feet wide, and the Hoover Dam is 725 ft high and 1,244 ft wide. Calculating the width and depth, the three Gorges Dam is around 4.4 times the size of the Hoover Dam. No surprise, considering the Three Gorges is the largest dam in the world, and backs the rivers up for over 370 miles!
