There are a number of factors that will determine the amount of honey that will be produced by one colony. For example, colonies with two queens yielded 101.2% more honey than colonies with one. However on average, one colony will produce about 120 pounds of honey.
One hive can produce in one season about 60 lbs in a good season, although this depends on the species as well as other variables.
