Barnes and Noble’s e-reader, the Nook, was originally $259 and is now only $199.  The Kindle, the e-reader from Amaon, was the same price as the Nook to start with and is now ten dollars cheaper at $189.  Research implies that this price drop is because iPad sales have increased.  The iPad starts at $499 and features an e-reading “App”.
