    The CO2 emissions from fossil fuel combustion in Arizona in 1990 came to a total of 62.87 million tons (32.52 from electric power and 22.79 from transportation were the major contributors). By 2007, that figure grew to 101.51 million tons (two largest contributors were the same, at 54.72 and 37.50, respectively).
