Animals’ products almost always use more energy and square acreage to grow than vegetable products. However, important things to consider are whether you are eating organic foods, foods that are locally grown, or foods that must go through extensive, energy consuming processes be they are marketed.
For example, are your neighbor’s chicken’s eggs more “green” than your agribusiness-farmed soy burger? Youll have to decide.
