How much fuel is used in a NASCAR race?

A typical NASCAR burns around 6,000 U.S. gallons (around 22700 litres) of fuel during a sprint cup weekend. During races a car will have an mpg between 2 and 5. The rate of fuel consumption is normally about the same, as teams want their cars to perform in the optimum power band, but fuel mileage can vary depending on circuits and higher average speeds.
