The Oro Valley Solar Project is expected to offset energy needs by as much as 60%, resulting in savings of $164,000 per year.
They constructing more than 1000 solar panels at the Oro Valley Town Hall, which will provide the town with as much as 60% of the town’s energy needs. The project is planned to be finished by March 2011.
It is difficult to say how much energy will exactly be generated right now; more accurate numbers will be available once the project is in motion.
