How much of the earths fresh water supply does the great lakes hold?

    According to the US government, the Great Lakes hold 20% of the Earth’s freshwater. Lake Superior itself holds half of that, 10% of the world’s total. That is only the liquid freshwater though, some 99% of the Earth’s freshwater is frozen in Antarctica and Greenland.
