It’s hard to get a grasp for this, not least because the definition of a “green degree” is fuzzy. Certainly something like environmental sciences would count, but what about a chemistry degree to someone who plans to do green chemistry? A more relevant question would be, “How many people do we need to have in green jobs to appropriately counter climate change?” I don’t know the answer to this either, but it’s certainly many millions.
