That question is difficult to answer since it is not visiting the doctor which hurts the environment, it is the mode of transportation used. Therefore if one were to drive a car it would “hurt the environment” by leaving a carbon footprint relative to the distance between one’s house and the doctor’s office. Ideally one should then look for general medical care as close to their residence as possible.
