The average bath uses approximately 70 gallons of water. Do the earth a favor and stick to a 5 minute shower instead, which can save you anywhere from 60 to 45 gallons of water. If you insist on taking a bath, at least plug the bath RIGHT away, and adjust the temperature up as needed. Don’t start the water and let it run while you wait for it to heat up.
