How much do seals have to eat each day?

Different seals are different sizes, for example the leopard seal is much larger than the harbor seal, and therefore has to eat more. According to Sea World, the harbor seal “eats 5% to 6% of their body weight per day, about 4.5 to 8.2 kg (10-18 lb.).” They feed on things such as squid, fish, molluscs, and crustaceans.
