Sea turtles range in size depending on the species, from 75–100 pounds (Kemp’s Ridley) to 1,300 pounds (leatherback).
The largest sea turtle ever recorded was almost 3 meters long and weighed about 2,000 pounds. It was found washed up on the Welsh Coat in 1987
