About 22 pounds.
There are two types of iguanas, the Green Iguana and the Lesser Antillian Iguana. The Green, or Common Iguana, averages to be about 6.5 feet long and weigh about 11 pounds. In fact, they are one of the largest Iguana species of the Americas.
The Lesser Antillian Iguana is the smaller of the two species. Males usually grow to be about 48 inches in length, and females about 32 inches long. Weights vary, but on average males weigh a little under 8 pounds and females about 5.5 pounds (with eggs). The Lesser Antillian Iguana is currently listed as Vulnerable globally, due in large part to habitat loss, invasive predators, and new competition with Green Iguanas.
