According to calrecycle, it is the same amount for glass, metal, or plastic. There are two different rates based on volume.
CRV is the same for plastic bottles as it is for aluminum. The only area in which it differs is glass. Some beer bottles have a higher CRV than aluminum or plastic because of either the quality of the glass or the thickness. Just because the CRV is the same, does not mean that you will receive the same amount when recycling them. In some states, the amount you receive back is by weight, not just five cents a bottle. You should look at your specific state to see how the system works.
