    Cropland is land that is used for agriculture. There are 15.2 million square kilometers of cropland on earth, that is 12% of the land excluding Antarctica and Greenland.
    “Rangelands are vast natural landscapes in the form of grasslands, shrublands, woodlands, and deserts. Rangelands are the “Wild Open Spaces” that cover about half of the earth’s land surface and half of western North America.” 46% of the earth’s surface is rangeland.
