How much water could we get from fog nets?

This is hard to answer since it really depends on several factors including where you are using the fog collector and what type of collector you are using. It has often been found that coastal areas and very high areas are best for fog collection. In an experimental project in Chile, their collectors could take in between 5.3 and 13.4 liters/square meter/day. In the fog seasons in Chile and Peru combined, the average was a bit lower at 3-9. This system has proved to be very cost-effective and efficient so far.
