Most regular shower heads use about 2.6 gallons of water per minute. So if you cut your shower by say 5 minutes four times a week you wold be saving around 52 gallons of water per week. (5*2.6*4=52).
Taking shorter showers is a very good way to save water and money. You may also want to consider buying a low-flow shower head. They usually use between 1.5 and 1.8 gallons per minute and if you buy a good one you won’t notice a change in water pressure.
