How much could emissions be reduced if more people took public transit?

Public transit creates significantly less emissions than personal.  Trains are the best at .47g/pm at full capacity.  This is comapred to the 1.54g/pm of the bus and the 2.06g/pm of the car.  One individual using mass transit instead of driving will save 200 gallons of gas annually.  If ten percent of our population would use mass transit, this would 135 million gallons of gas.
