How much CO2 do cars release?

  1. 0 Votes

As of 2000, passenger cars were releasing 11,450 pounds of CO2 per year, and light trucks were releasing 16,035 pounds of Co2 per year. Carbon dioxide emissions are directly linked to fuel economy – every 1% increase or decrease in gas mileage results in a 1% increase or decrease in CO2 emissions.
