Turning off the faucet while we brush our teeth can save several gallons of water every day. If adult population of England and Wales turned off their faucets while brushing their teeth they could save a total of 180 mega-litres a day, which would be enough to supply water to nearly 500,000 houses. Turning off the faucet is a simple task that can make a big difference.
