    Lake Powell is a reservoir used to hold water from the Colorado River for human use. Ranking as the second largest fresh water reservoir behind Lake Mead, it is located on the borders of Utah and Arizona and at full capacity can hold up to 24,322,000 acres of water of 30 square kilometers!
