How much can I make if I get a forestry degree?

Entry positions for individuals with forestry degrees range between $21,893- $27,199. As you go up the GS-scale, which can be done through further education or time, you can go up to as high as a GS-15 which make about $125,000. I know that if you get a 3.0 GPA or better when you enter as a new employee you start at a higher wage, if you do not have the 3.0GPA you usually have to wait 6 months or so for an increase.

Again, if you start off even as a GS-5 you can start by making $14-$16 an hour– this being the usual start for a recent graduate

2008 salaries for Forestry technicians was $35,010, these jobs tend to be more labor intensive.
