About 25 gallons of water per month can be saved by turning off the facet while someone is brushing their teeth.
I believe that bathroom faucets can use anywhere from 1-3 gallons of water per minute. This depends on the pressure and how high the water is turned on. If this is the case, I would imagine one would save anywhere from 2-6 gallons of water by turning off the water while brushing for 2 minutes.
