How much BPA is in baby bottles?

A 2007 study compared 5 major brands of baby bottles.  The brands tested were Avent, Dr. Browns, Eveflo, Gerber, and Playtex.  The study showed that the BPA leaking out of the bottles ranged from 4 to 10 parts per billion (ppb).  The range varied from brand to brand.  While the effects of BPA are slightly controversial, there are many baby bottles available for purchase that now market themselves as BPA-free bottles.
