When looking strictly at the final product the Corvette gets an average between 16 / 26 mpg, while the Prius has around 29/36 mpg. But if we factor in the harmful chemicals used for the battery of the Prius and manufacturing, it might not make it more environmentally friendly after all. This also has much to do with how much the average lifespan of the car and battery is, as well as how recyclable these batteries are.
