How much of the agriculture in America is organic?

         In 2008 American farmers dedicated 4.8 million acres for organic agriculture– 2.7 million of cropland and 2.1 million for rangeland and pasture. Though organic agriculture is growing, only 0.7% of cropland and 0.5% of rangeland were organic in 2008.
