Over twenty percent of the Denmark power grid consists of wind power, provided by their more than 6000 wind turbines. However, this hasn’t been the most efficient system for them, and the government itself is dubious as to wind powers utility.
I hope this helped!
The number of turbines in Denmark peaked in the year 2000 at over 6,200. I couldn’t find a more recent figure, but wind power now powers 1/5 of Denmark’s electricity.
