    The Los Angeles National forest primarily include Bigcone Douglas-fir, Coulter Pine, and the California Walnut. However, this forest does contain a hefty population of old growth, Jeffrey Pine, Coast Douglas-fir, Ponderosa Pine, White Fir, and Lodgepole Pine.

    These are also among the many forests threatened and burned down by California’s wild fires over the recent decade.
